Report: Liverpool now ready to win race for ‘phenomenal’ midfielder, £30m bid is already in the works

Liverpool are reportedly ready to beat everybody to Khephren Thuram’s signature, with a transfer bid already in the works for the Reds.

The OGC Nice midfielder has once again emerged as a target for Liverpool, with the 22-year-old enjoying a fantastic season with the Ligue 1 club this term.

Lauded by French football expert Jonathan Johnson as a ‘phenomenal’ prospect, Thuram is one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe heading into January, and Liverpool are preparing their move.

TuttoJuve report that the Reds are willing to beat anyone to the midfielder’s signature, with Liverpool also putting in work to submit a €35m (£30m) transfer offer for the Nice star.

Whilst defence could be a more glaring issue for the Anfield side given the recent injury to Joel Matip, it’s clear that Thuram is a player who is well-fancied at Liverpool.

And a deal to sign the towering midfielder could be one that goes down well with supporters, with Thuram a player who can offer a lot to Liverpool’s midfield.

Thuram is clearly a player who Liverpool are keen to sign given how much the midfielder has now been linked with a move to Anfield in the last six months.

And heading into January, landing the French international would be quite the coup for the Reds, who might a potential superstar on their hands.

Tall, powerful and quick, Thuram is a physical specimen who has the technical abilities to go up against some of the best players in Europe in his position.

And for Liverpool, signing Thuram ahead of rival clubs would be a major sign of intent given how sought-after the midfielder now is on the continent.
