'Incredible': CEO says he never wants to sell £89m player, after reports that Liverpool are interested

Bayern Munich’s CEO has stated that he never wants to sell Jamal Musiala amid reports that Liverpool are interested in the 20-year-old.

Speaking to BR24, Jan-Christian Dreesen publically claimed that he wants to keep the Germany international at Bayern for as long as possible, with Musiala linked with a move to the Premier League.

Liverpool are been strongly reported as suitors for the former England youth international, with Manchester City and Real Madrid also in the chase to sign Musiala.

However, Bayern are not interested in the slightest in selling Musiala, with Dreesen stating that he wants to keep the attacking midfielder for as long as possible at the club.

The Bundesliga CEO said abut Musiala’s future at Bayern: “I’d really love to [keep him for life]. Jamal is already a fantastic football player today.

“He has such incredible talents, with so many more opportunities to continue to improve – we would do well to keep him with us for as long as possible.”

With a potential price tag of £89m, Liverpool will have to break the bank if they’re to even consider signing Musiala in 2024 as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Yet the Reds could do just that if they’re serious about signing Musiala, especially if the youngster fails to sign a new contract with Bayern in the coming months.

Indeed, the Premier League is clearly a division that appeals to Musiala, and Liverpool could be the youngster’s next destination if all the stars align heading into 2024.
